Depression formed over Bay of Bengal

 The Meteorological Center here on Thursday informed that a downturn has framed over south-east Bay of Bengal this evening.

The climate office in its Twitter handle said, "A downturn has framed over the south-east Bay of Bengal at 17.30hrs IST of second December."

"It (the downturn) is probably going to escalate into a cyclonic tempest during the following 24hrs," it added.
